Lavuan was founded on a simple frustration: too many products promising too much and explaining too little. We set out to make the opposite.
Our story
From a crowded bathroom shelf to a short, smart routine.
Our founders spent years trying product after product: cleansers that stung, toners full of alcohol, creams that smelled lovely and did little else. When they started reading the research, the pattern was obvious. A handful of well-studied ingredients do most of the heavy lifting, and irritants like fragrance quietly undo the good.
So Lavuan works with independent cosmetic chemists and board-certified dermatologist advisors to build formulas around those proven ingredients, at strengths that matter, in packaging that protects them. Then we explain all of it in plain English.
The result is fewer products, better skin, and a lot less guesswork.

What we never use
The no list
Leaving things out matters as much as what goes in. These are banned from every Lavuan formula:
- Added fragrance (synthetic or natural)
- Essential oils
- Menthol, mint, and eucalyptus
- High levels of drying alcohol
- Gritty, jagged scrub particles
- Jar packaging for air-sensitive formulas
